Katie Jacobson was raised in New Jersey. Attended Occidental College. CalArts MFA. Joined in a domestic partnership with Andrea Lambert in 2011. Co-Curator of the Featherless Reading Series. Her work appears in vale veils casebok/ekphrasis project and in Hot Tea, Cold Water. Chapbook: Vergangenheitsbewältigung (2009/2014.) Died by her own hand in 2012. The Katie Jacobson Writer in Residence Program was established posthumously at CalArts in her name.
Corpus Peculiarus was Jacobson’s CalArts thesis. Posthumously released. Experimental short stories on disabled bodies, child abuse, and suicide.
